Tēnā koutou kātoa,
Welcome to Tainui School, we are a thriving school in the heart of Tainui. Our Tamariki predominately come from the streets surrounding our school. Many of our staff also live close to school.
We value the sense of community in our school, this is a long standing tradition here.
As the new tumuaki/principal here I have a strong sense of the dedication teachers have to the learning of our tamariki.
We have a diverse team of staff who all have different strengths, our tamariki benefit from the different strengths and passions staff bring to our school.
Going forward we are re-aligning our assessment and reporting practices with the new curriculum documents. Whānau will see a change in the next 12 months.
Thanks for choosing Tainui School. I am blessed to be the tumuaki/principal here.
If you are considering education here for your child in the future please reach out to make an appointment with myself or one of our Deputy principals,
