We advertise the available team sports in our newsletter. Registration is completed by parents using a Google Form. The number of teams we enter into local competitions is dependent on support from parents and caregivers, and having enough players to make up teams.
There is a fee for these local team competitions, which we collect from parents / caregivers on behalf of the organisations running these. In cases of financial hardship, we can consider options such as, small automatic payments or grant applications.
Futsal – After school at the Edgar Centre in Terms 1 and 4.
Flippa Ball – At Moana Pool on Sunday afternoons in Terms 1 and 4.
Touch – After school on Thursdays, at the Oval in Terms 1 and 4.
Cricket – After school at Logan Park in Terms 1 and 4.
Rippa – After school on Mondays, at the Edgar Centre in Terms 1 and 4.
Kiwihoops – Games are played after school on Thursdays, at the Edgar Centre in Terms 2 and 3.
Netball – Games are played after school at the Edgar Centre in Terms 2 and 3.
Hockey – Games are played after school on Wednesdays, at the McMillan Turf in Terms 2 and 3.
Ariki Cup Cross Country – Inter-school cross country championship.
Tainui School Cross Country – Held at Tahuna Park Showgrounds
South Zone Athletics and Otago Athletics Championships – Held each November for those who meet the qualifying standards
