Due to a recent retirement, we are seeking a collaborative, innovative, responsive and experienced leader to join our successful, inclusive, caring and community-based school. Proven leadership skills, strong teaching and learning pedagogy, strengths in curriculum knowledge, a passion for holistic and future-focused education, and the ability to build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau, staff and community are required. The successful applicant will preferably have highly effective teaching experience across Years 4 to 6, be a learner, a clear communicator, a strong collaborator willing to use equitable teaching approaches, and be someone dedicated to fostering hauora. Giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, meaningfully integrating te reo and tikanga Māori are other important qualities.
