PART-TIME TEACHER 0.72 FTTE
Our community-based, inclusive and supportive school seeks a motivated, reflective and experienced teacher dedicated to fostering learning and hauora. There are three aspects to this position: (a) Mondays in a Y2-Y3 class, (b) Wednesdays and Tuesday afternoons in another Y2-Y3 class, and (c) Y4-Y6 small group teaching using a structured literacy approach. If you wish to join our school for Terms 3 and 4, please apply. Strengths in curriculum knowledge and effective teaching practices, a willingness to use equitable teaching methods, and being a successful communicator, collaborator and learner, are required. Building strong relationships with tamariki, parents, whānau and staff, being passionate about holistic education, and the ability to honour Tiriti o Waitangi and meaningfully integrate te reo and tikanga Māori, are other important qualities we need.
